We’re talking basics today… A basic pair of jeans, with an edgier faux leather jacket, softened by a patterned scarf. It’s as simple as that. I tend to lean towards the girly side of fashion. Gimme all the pink, ruffles, and frills. However, there comes a time when a statement piece like an edgy leather jacket is necessary. As you can see below, I showed the look with and without the scarf. It all depends on your own personal style as to how you wish to rock it. Personally, I liked the outfit more when I added a touch of “me” if you will by adding the scarf. Y’all are gonna get sick of seeing this scarf this season because the versatility of it is endless. I plan on bringing versatile looks with this piece all fall long. These jeans are LIFE! I searched forever for a basic pair of busted knee jeans, and Free People came through with these. The color is so vibrant, as you can see below. They are so extremely comfortable because they have just the right amount of stretch. Price wise they are a little more expensive than I normally like to pay, but when it comes to jeans I feel that you can spend a little extra on them because they are timeless and can be worn for an eternity. The faux leather jacket has really become a go-to piece for me this fall. When I feel like stepping out of my girly box, and rocking something a little edgier than I normally would I throw this jacket on and it puts the perfect twist to any OOTD. I also had to throw in that cognac neutral to show you how nicely it pairs even with a black jacket. These are my favorite all-time booties because the height of the heel is literal perfection. Comfortable, but you can legit throw them on with anything and they dress the look right up. Hope you have a fabulous weekend. Perhaps I see some shopping in your future. I agree with you on the scarf, it does add a nice twist! When wearing such a basic outfit I really believe in adding pieces to make it a bit more personal. I also love the way you match the scarf to the shoes, really bringing it all together!
