A Pop of Color❤️

On the real, how fun is this top? If you check all your favorite fashion bloggers insta posts you’ll find them in this top, I’m sure. It’s so popular right now, and I’m just as in love with it as they are. The fabric is seriously the softest, ever! These sleeves are so much fun, too. Not only do they have a two-tier bell sleeve, but they also have a scalloped hem on the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt. So, SO cute. It’s a simple black and white top so a pop of color was necessary to add that little something extra. I chose red, but I will also pair it with hot pink, blue, and basically any color of choice.

Let’s talk stripes, shall we? I have a horizontal stripes rule… If they’re large stripes, I stay away. Far, far away. Since this stripe was thin I kind of figured it would be flattering, and it did not disappoint. Stripes have the potential to make or break you. This is especially true when you’re taking photographs in a striped ensemble. I just recommend being careful, and always, always, always try it on. I know, I know.. I hate trying on, too. However, sometimes it’s a must.

Y’all already know how I feel about these busted knee jeans from Free People, but I will reiterate their importance. The vibrant color, stretchy/ sculpting fabric is to die for. They’re simple, but trendy because of the ripped knees. If you haven’t ordered them yet, they’re just waiting for a place in your closet. If you’re not crazy about the price of either of these pieces, (top and jeans) keep an eye out for sales. Most of the time free people doesn’t put popular items like this on sale. However, maybe you’ll catch a deal, and I’ll be jealous because I paid full price. This outfit is simple, but makes a bold statement with the stripes, bell sleeves, and pops of color in my earrings, shoes, and lipstick. Easy Peasy. Links 👇 XOXO
