With the Holidays right around the corner everyone is talking about their ideal Holiday looks. I also thought I would share a few of my favorite looks for this lovely time of year that we all adore. Personally, when I think of a holiday outfitsparkles and the color red come to mind. Hence, the OOTD below.
When I purchased this dress last Holiday season I was ecstatic. I like refer to this as my snowflake dress. The color of the crushed velvet reminds me of a snowflake. So, theres that. I accented with red through the tights, earrings, and bold red lip. This, to me, makes it very christmasy. However, if I wanted to make it more of a winter look the accents of blue would work nicely with the dress also. That’s the thing about a versatile color such as this. You can basically pair it with most anything.
The OTK (over the knee) boots have been my favorite for years. I’ve had them for quite a while, but they’re still kickin’. (Pun intended) The taupe is a nice neutral that goes with basically anything. The boots dress down the outfit, but if I wanted to go for a dressier look I would add a nude heel to the mix. I feel that this is a nice party look, something you could wear for a Christmas dinner, a play or to see the nutcracker.
