Gingham and some Glitter

Gingham, ankle booties, casual jackets, and big sunglasses.. some of my favorite items for transitioning from this swinter we’ve been having into spring. Yes, I said swinter. Like a mix between summer and winter. The weather in Kentucky is crazy, bipolar if you will, and a lot of times it is difficult to plan an OOTD. However, a few of the pieces in this post are classics that can be paired in a multitude of ways for that perfect transition outfit you’ve been looking for.

I love, love, LOVE this Cotten Pocket Jacket. I have been obsessed with finding the perfect fit for my closet. This style of jacket is a hot commodity for spring, and I found bits and pieces I loved from different jackets.. until I found the perfect one for me. I am in love with the fact that this specific jacket can be cinched at the waist to give you a feminine defined silhouette. Finding the right fit is important, and I did just that with this one.

My Dooney is one of my very favorite purses that I have ever had. I bought it quite a few years ago and from the photos below you can tell that it is still in mint condition. This is one of those purchases that you can literally use for the rest of your life if it is taken care of properly. The price isn’t ideal, but it is an investment for the long run! I love the color because it can go with so much. Cream is also a good color for most times of the year. Go for it!! You’ll love it just as much as I do.

I did a little contrast with the navy and white gingham shirt that I’m dying over. This is also a piece that can be worn in multiple different ways. It’s a great addition to any wardrobe, and you’ll be happy you have it! Trust me!!

This specific pair of booties are probably one of my favorites. Let me tell you why- the color is extremely versatile. Cognac is my all-time favorite because it legitimately goes with everything. The second reason why these are my go-to booties is because of the heel height. I like for my shoes to be comfortable because I’m not about that feet killing me life. Hence, the reason I went with a lower heel. I wear them all the time.. ALL the time! Whether a night out, a day of shopping, or dinner plans you’ll find me in these at any and every part of the day.

I snatched these jeans at Old Navy for a whopping $15. Yes, you read that right literally $15. The dark wash with the light fade in the front are what I liked about them… AND they’re extremely comfortable. If it doesn’t flow don’t force it.. relationships, friendships, ponytails, and in this case jeans. That’s my philosophical advice for the day! Find your perfect fit for a perfect price at Old Navy. They’re having 30% off online right now. You can thank me later!

The phrase “you had me at big sunglasses” comes to mind with this pair. I’m kind of sunglasses crazy. Okay, I said it.. I have a fettish. How could you not with these? The gold Tory Burch emblem are what I love most about them. I told Y’all gold is my neutral, and they’re so chic they’re literal perfection with any outfit.

Glitter, glitter, and more glitter. I love this belt.. and the fact that it’s gold makes me love it even more. It’s thin, but still adds that little something extra to the outfit. The price is my favorite part! Target is killin’ the game with this one!

Classy girls wear pearls so they say. My recent obsession are my Bourbon and Bowtie bracelets. They’re so dainty and feminine, they just make me feel so girly when I wear them. The pearls are obviously a classic, and I’m not sure if you can tell in the photo but the other one pictured has glitter in the stones. I’m OBSESSED! I also am obsessed with my gold Michael Kors watch. This is a little dressier than the Kate Spade watch I attached in an earlier post. It’s a good size.. not too big and not too small. Just a perfect all around good statement watch. I purchased mine during the friends and family sale at Macy’s to save a little money! Wait for the sale, your bank account will thank you later if you do!

Last, but certainly not least the Jcrew statement necklace is 100. It’s big, but that’s what makes it so fabulous. I purchased it at the Jcrew Factory store. They don’t have it online, but I’m pretty positive they still carry it in the store. Don’t quote me on that, but I think I’ve seen it recently. If you can’t find this specific one, they have a ton of gold statement necklaces that are perfect for any occasion. Treat yo self! You know where to find the outfit details!👇 XOXO

I almost forgot… the rose/mauve colored nail polish I’m wearing here is my favorite color right now. Okay, I have a lot of favorites, but this one is really something! It’s OPI Infinite Shine in the color “Stick it Out” I hope y’all like it too! What are you waiting for??? Get to shopping!

P.S. the wind was not my friend in some the photos… long hair probs.
