Anybody else falling for fall? It happens every year for me. I don’t know about anyone else, but boots season is my favorite season. Boots are my absolute favorite! I adore riding boots, rain boots, booties, bean boots, ugg boots. You name it, and it’s in my closet. I just can’t even imagine living in a place where I didn’t get to experience all four seasons, and the outfits that go along with each. Can we just talk about the color of this shirt for a minute? Hunter green is number one on my list for fall staples in my wardrobe. I’m OBSESSED with this color. I don’t know what it is about it.. something about the color reminds me of the classic preppy look that has never gone out of style for many generations. It’s a definite fall must have, and you should add some to your closet if you haven’t already. Another color I’m swooning over for fall is mauve/ rose. Anything and everything I can find in that color I love. Lipstick, nail polish, sweaters, bracelets (pictured below) you need it ALL! The two colors together (Hunter green and Rosey/mauve) are complementary to one another, and I thought they worked nicely together in this outfit. The ruffle top skirt is so comfy and cute. It comes in a multitude of colors. So, you can literally take this skirt and make so many different outfits. Obvi, riding boots in my favorite color (cognac) are essential for everyone’s fall attire. These Frye boots are made so incredibly well that they are worth the price for sure. I purchased mine on sale at Macy’s. Super exciting, because they don’t usually go on sale.. but if you keep an eye out or if you’re an avid shopper like myself you just might snag a deal like I did on these. A simple outfit with some statement jewelry and I’m ready for all things that fall can throw my way. Pumpkin patches, Keeneland, or sipping on my white mocha latte from Starbs.. the outfit can be versatile for any and all activities listed above. Side note, the white mocha lattes are my obsession right now. Forget the PSL’s, hot or iced white mocha is phenomenal and you should all try it asap. You’ll thank me later. XOXO links at the bottom.
PSA: The mini pies pictured below are SO good. We used them as props, but when we were done we tried them and I 10/10 recommend the pecan and the pumpkin. They’re only 99 cents from walmart. Winning!
